" NO EARTHLY COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF IS GOING TO ISSUE MILITARY ORDER OR GIVE ASSIGNMENTS WITHOUT GIVING THE AUTHORITY TO CARRY THEM OUT. THE FACT THAT HE HAS GIVEN THOSE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY TO MEN/WOMEN UNDER HIM/HER MEANS THAT THE AUTHORITY TO CARRY THEM OUT IS INHERENT TO THE ORDERS.
IF EARTHLY COMMANDERS WOULD NOT EXPECT AN ORDER TO BE CARRIED OUT WITHOUT AUTHORITY, HOW MUCH MORE WOULD OUR HEAVENLY COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF EXPECT IT! WITHOUT THE AUTHORITY TO CARRY THEM OUT, ORDER ARE NOT WORTH ANYMORE THAN THE PAPER ON WHICH THEY ARE WRITTEN. without THE POWER OF GOD, THE AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVER WOULD BE USELESS. JESUS GAVE THE AUTHORITY. YOU EXERCISE THAT AUTHORITY IN OBEDIENCE. GOD SUPPLIES THE POWER AND THE ABILITY (LUKE 10:19) "

This is a very basic element to wrap your head around, commander or not, every single time ask or instruct someone to do anything; you do it knowing that person has the authority to carry it out to fruition (whatever it is). Therefore, each and every instruction in the WORD, we need to look at it with a clean set of eyes. How about we see it as a selected job; meaning using our free will we decide to take it or not. Once we take it we grab on like a pit bull, with full intention to get this instruction completed through to fruition, long, short, beautiful, messy, or not. Regardless of who we are, or what society sees us; you see we do NOT have our authority from others we have it From God. Our Heavenly Father Himself. So stop with the excuses, that conviction you have - well just Do It.
Oh and one more thing, my children have heard me say this to them their entire lives so here you go, "The definition of failure isn't what you think. It isn't a failed attempt, a less than stellar or below your expectations result. It is simply not trying at all!".
lThe right to pray and receive the answer is given to every believer (John 14:13,14). The ministry of healing was given to us "the seventy" who represent the future workers of the Church. (Luck 10:1,9, & 19). It was given to all "them that believe" the Gospel, them that act on the Gospel, and the doers of the Word.
It is committed to "the elders" of the Church. (James 5:14) It is a bestowed upon the whole Church as one of its ministries and gifts until Jesus comes. (1 Cor. 12:9,10)
Jesus never commissioned anyone to preach the Gospel without including healing for the sick. He said, Whatever city you enter, heal the sick that are there. (Luke 10:8,9). That command still applies to the Gospel ministry today.

Interesting to me as often I have had this conversation with friends and other fellow Believers. Somehow we forget our right to ask for healing. Throughout both testaments the Lord is referred to as our Rapha (meaning :: the Lord of repair, rest or health, heal, mend, fix and cure). As well as the Lord is our Rophe (meaning :: our Doctor, our Physician, and our Healer.
With those strong words throughout the Word, how is it we forget to seek the Lord in our prayers with all of our aliments. Being mindful to be thankful, with a spirit full of repent and humility. Approach in full faith, knowing He can and will heal you completely as you yield to His Will.
All of you who have been reading or following my Blog, know I lost my Mother to cancer. So of course many may be thinking, gosh Sam how can you address the healing hands of the Lord when He did not heal your Mother. My answer to you is wow, how can you imagine for one second that is what happened. I get it, I understand that first reaction; it is however in selfishness. My Mother was at a place in life that the Lord called her home, she needed it, wanted it, and was in all honesty ready to go home.
It was the left behind that hurt - even that was a healing - speaking for myself the entire experience was the most sincere form of healing that any one person could have ever experienced. Thank you Lord!
"I see so many Christians who are struggling to believe and struggling to have faith. Their focus is all wrong. They are focusing on the their ability or inability to believe God, or "trying" to have faith. They should simply start acting like God's Word is true. It will make all the difference in their lives!
It is when we know God's Word is true and act like it's true that it becomes a reality to us. Faith is not something we have so much as it is something we do. "

TRUST/BELIEVE/FAITH - Chasah/Batach
There are four different words used in to describe the Old Testament concept of Faith. An Old Testament believe's faith included trust, believing, hope and steadfastness that produces faithfulness.
To me a grace based Christian - I see so many people wanting to connect faith to something they can hold. Something they perceive as tangible. Like a chair.
Okay, lets look at the chair concept. In reality you have faith in your "knowledge or understanding" that, that chair will in fact hold you. It is the same thing only in different elements of understanding.
Have you ever heard someone suggest that you need to smile if you feel sad? Just smiling will help your mood. Why? Well two facts, one your conscious self is smiling and therefore "taking action", and yes the biochemistry that is released within your body when those smile muscles are activated.
So expand on that :: I would be willing to bet you can think of dozens of examples where when you DECIDE to act upon something, the mood changes, or it literally comes to fruition. Not be metaphysical here; but what about mowing the lawn - if you act on it and mow it - boom it is mowed.
Think of Faith exactly the same way - choose to believe, choose faith, Act on that Faith. Actively Have Faith, and you will indeed have FAITH! Choose to underscore that faith with choosing to believe God's Word is infallible. You know it, you have learned that, you will repeat it and teach others the same. So for heavens sake - Believe it already!!
