REMEMBER. Often we are on our knees when we are down, when we have pain, and begging Him for mercy, grace, power or healing. Then what, do you remember to say Thank You?
How busy are you organizing, working, getting stuff done, running your social life and planning every detail out as you look over your successes. Remember the Lord your God! Remember your time with the Lord, Praise Him, Thank Him and keep your hearts pure and your eyes on Him!!
It is easy to say, but is it easy to do? I say easy, it is just making Him a priority, the priority. Don't get me wrong, it is work. It takes time, work and dedication to make new habits or break bad ones. How about this; focus on forming good habits, it takes 21 times of any repeat behavior for a habit to form. Yep, be aware and form the good ones… Then boom easy! Thank you Lord!!
Remember to be a testimony of structure and respect, everyone is watching and the evil one is trying to trip you up. What happens when it's a friend, someone very close, we are more likely to reschedule or be late, or even forget; why because they will forgive us, they know we love them. Even still there is accountability, you don't want to be the flake, or always taxing and grieving your loved ones. Is that what we tell ourselves when we rob time from the Lord? You don't show up for work late, biz apt late; well if you do you get fired. How about we realize we need to do what we say, stuff happens yes, so reset expectations, inform, communicate, show you are trustworthy and caring. And yes, that is basic common curtesy, and honorable behavior. It is you having and showing integrity. That is the same thing the Lord is asking from us! That really shouldn't be hard. So remember your important people, relationships… Respect them, Love on them, Thank them for loving on you!
The Lord gave us the Gift (Jesus Christ our Savior -The Word), the Lord gave us the Promise (the Holy Spirit), the Lord holds us at the highest place, and loves us more than we can imagine. He loves on us whether we are aware or not. So Remember!!! Praise Him, Thank Him, Honor Him and Obey Him!!! And WOW, He is so wonderful, so truly wonderful to us, Thank You Lord, Hallelujah!!!!
“You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”
