When you profess your belief, pray and believe for the answer, the healing, the provisions; don't turn around a day or two later and present your doubt!
I think some of us need reminding of what presenting your doubt is. Let me say it like this, if you are choosing to believe, choosing to be optimistic because you KNOW God has filled that glass - don't change your mind - don't start to doubt your previous decision. Like if you said this glass is half full, two or three people come and ask you the same question - keep your answer the same. Seriously, would you start to change your answer, maybe change to half full to oh about half, and then to oh IDK half empty maybe, and so on. Your doubt can steal everything from you!
With your belief, turn and listen to the Word. Listen to its beauty and to its grace, love, promises and powers. Fill your heart, mind and soul with His Word.
Now all you NEED to do is ACT - Follow the Word.
“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:6, 22-25 NIV
"I see so many Christians who are struggling to believe and struggling to have faith. Their focus is all wrong. They are focusing on the their ability or inability to believe God, or "trying" to have faith. They should simply start acting like God's Word is true. It will make all the difference in their lives!
It is when we know God's Word is true and act like it's true that it becomes a reality to us. Faith is not something we have so much as it is something we do. "

TRUST/BELIEVE/FAITH - Chasah/Batach
There are four different words used in to describe the Old Testament concept of Faith. An Old Testament believe's faith included trust, believing, hope and steadfastness that produces faithfulness.
To me a grace based Christian - I see so many people wanting to connect faith to something they can hold. Something they perceive as tangible. Like a chair.
Okay, lets look at the chair concept. In reality you have faith in your "knowledge or understanding" that, that chair will in fact hold you. It is the same thing only in different elements of understanding.
Have you ever heard someone suggest that you need to smile if you feel sad? Just smiling will help your mood. Why? Well two facts, one your conscious self is smiling and therefore "taking action", and yes the biochemistry that is released within your body when those smile muscles are activated.
So expand on that :: I would be willing to bet you can think of dozens of examples where when you DECIDE to act upon something, the mood changes, or it literally comes to fruition. Not be metaphysical here; but what about mowing the lawn - if you act on it and mow it - boom it is mowed.
Think of Faith exactly the same way - choose to believe, choose faith, Act on that Faith. Actively Have Faith, and you will indeed have FAITH! Choose to underscore that faith with choosing to believe God's Word is infallible. You know it, you have learned that, you will repeat it and teach others the same. So for heavens sake - Believe it already!!
Everyone has a calling and a purpose on theirs lives; we ALL DO! A good example is Joseph (Gen 37:3-11, 17). There was the vision of his calling, his destiny in the Lords plan. Down in vs 42 is when it lands on him. But, what does that mean anyway… Look at any child that knows they want to grow up and be an Engineer. The Lord put that desire, and vision of their destiny in their heart. So much to get through before it is THERE. Concentrated study, focus , even sacrifices as they prepare for higher levels of education. What else, the innocence of childhood starts to melt, as the enemy through people tells that child NO WAY YOU can't do that, reasons like no one in your family has ever gone to University, no one will pick you, know chance in scholarships - completion is too high - or whatever nonsense is running in their head. No money, no experience, and the world saying give up you aren't worth it. Or worse you have been measured and you are a no go.
What happened to America, to youth, even to adults. The "You can't do that message", used to motivate us. Now it seems, people especially youth just accept its a reality.
So Change That! You say you know you purpose and, only if this or only if that, you would be doing it. Well Just Do It, have faith for heavens sake. Believe the WORD! Someone told me there is a time to pray, and pray, and pray… There is also a time to act. Meaning Act on Gods Promises, truly accept your purpose and start living it TODAY!!!
Coming back to the original point I made yesterday; a wonderful series I listened to by Pastor Robert Morris, called From Dream to Destiny where Joseph is the literal example the WORD provides us for the road map, and prep for what stands in our way. He is an amazing Spirit filled teacher I encourage you all to check it out. In the meantime this series spoke to me so much I wanted to add to it and get some sound bites out.
In summary we can't stand and deliver on our destinies before our character can stand up, most especially spiritual callings. So there are 10 tests we have to PASS, and the tests will go on until we pass, or the Lord redirects. Remember, the power is in our own will to chose, to do, to obey, and to act in accordance to His will. Only then are you able to step into those sandals the Lord showed you. He has waiting for you, the first three are really all centered in Pride, something I hope we can all work on together. Remember, it's not a competition, and it's not for you to judge, just work on yourself… And believe me if you don't think you need to work on things in this areas; I have news for you, you failed the first, second and third test!
1. The Pride Test, 2. the Bragging Test, 3. the root of pride, The Insecurity Test
In the process speak life into yourself, your situation and others around you.
