Find your mountain, what is it that you want to move! Identify all of them, the big mountains the little ones, even the little mole hills. What is it that you want to move, make happen, get it out of your way; write that list down, start it today and keep it close to you all week. Keep adding to it throughout the week. Then let's work on getting them done!
Okay so what I want you to think about first is literally the power of your own words, period. If you run around naming those mountains and say how much they are in your way, you will never get over or around them; guess what your own words defeated you. WOW Right. Well the Bible tells us Man lives or dies on his own words. That is exactly the point I just made. Further, phycology, brain studies and surveys also confirm it. So no getting around it ... It is hard core fact! So accept it today, and let's use it to our own advantage, our words create life, good, creativity, amazingness and wins for heavens sake. So let's go!,
1. Realize the power of your words,
2. Stop all negative, victim, failure, and defeated talk. Just stop it. It is hurting you and BTW, everyone in your life is totally tired of you complaining, and whining. Yep that is how others hear those words. Your own brain, hears those words as facts. So stop
3. Start speaking life, what you want, what you can, what you are working on. Say things as if... With a smile. Careful not to run around talking up some crazy lie around you about everything, or telling some grandiose story that no one will believe. Keep it real, just stay on the good. Case in point, I recent had an experience that was well not at all what I expected. Nope my expectations, that were set by others were far off from the facts. Of course I could have been mad, hurt, or had a fit over it. I could have been sad or victimized w the poor me things. Instead I chose to find the good and move through it. Of course there were some moments where I wasn't happy, I did express the truth and needs (not it having power over me just the current situation - there is a huge difference) and those around me agreed and we all learned from it. Very good and wonderful experience... Because we chose that!
4. Now that you understand your words, what to say and what not to say, start mapping out and identifying your mountains. Again, only describe what you want to do, not what is in your way or is preventing. I know you know the difference.
This process is an entire workshop I have been teaching for nearly 30 years so a morning devotional, is your start. Okay. You have to embrace the fact that YOU, YOUR words have power over your own life!! Thank You Lord!!!
““Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.””
