You don't have to go very far to find hatred, anger, jealousy, and sadness. It is true the world is consumed maybe even addicted to this negativity. Look at the non-stop posting about our President, previous President and so on. People Stop. Let's get united - otherwise we are weak and we accomplish nothing.
Okay what might be the first step?
How about You Release yourself from it, you don't need to be in that space and place of mind. All that negative is going to breed more negative. Think about it, when in a public place are you drawn to the happy, pleasant and joyful person. Maybe just the smile. Inherently we desire these emotions and overall state.
So are you grumpy out of habit, you don't want to be grumpy but you are. Do you somehow believe that seriousness is synonymous with grumpiness? I think that is a very common mistake, we make it by accident, perhaps even culturally. One thing is for certain, in order to be serious, accomplish what you need to do, do it better than you have ever done before... You do not need to be grumpy!
Do something for me today (for yourself and everyone around you), Smile, Smile all day. When you feel those heavy thoughts coming, remember you will be better off, get better results, and even be healthier if you keep your smile on!!
In a nut shell - stay joyful - rejoice even. (You might think: Why, how, there are so many things going wrong or bad things happening?!?!?). The answer is simple, if you want to see evil you will, if you want to see all the trash and horribleness in the world you will, and if you want to see THE GOOD YOU WILL!! Mindful, I'm not saying bury your head in the sand, you must stay aware, cognizant to what is going on. That said and most important you can influence, have a positive affect on it if you are NOT living under its control.
So be happy - Rejoice - the Lord has your back! Make your requests known to him, and give all your stress and anxiety to him. He is the giver of Peace, total Peace of Mind. Thank You Lord!! Hallelujah. Super WOW and I want to say Thank You Lord again!
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
